Trying out Dance

McKenna took a couple of dance classes a few weeks ago and did really well (sort of). She was kind of the goof ball of the class and didn't take it too seriously. Don't get me wrong, she listened to the teacher and even learned shuffle step but...it was a lot of looking in the mirror and posing and well, McKenna just thought it was funny to love yourself in the mirror that much :) I think we're signing up for a gymnastics/dance class instead. She definitely is who she is! The pictures are cute though!

What kid doesn't like playing in the mud? These were taken earlier this summer. Such a ham!

We visited my friend Alexis in the city a couple of weeks ago and had so much fun! We tried to find these cement slides that I went down as a kid. We found these (not the one's I remember) and they were seriously the scariest slides I've ever been down. Super fast! Very fun though and all three of us went down! Great day!

We went to Bodega Bay today with family and friends. It was beautiful just a bit windy. Bodega brings back so many memories---I love it there!

Daring Explanation

I know this looks dangerous, but it is McKenna's favorite thing to do before bed. Daddy was watching her one night and when I got home they just had to show me. She knows she can only jump when daddy is home...but it still makes me nervous! Just had to share with everyone how fearless our little miss is...definitely like her daddy. (oh--sorry we copied Macy's sweatshirt Auntie Katie! It was the only cute one!)

McKenna got her picture taken yesterday and was so funny! She went right up to the backdrop and did every pose she could think of. Everyone was watching and saying how cute she was and just when I thought she was being too perfect, she turned her little butt up in the air and farted. She cracked up and said, "I farted---hahaha." She's a nut!
