Peyton Jane is One!

We had an Owl Party for Peytie's first birthday! She was perfect all day and loved her party! I can't believe she's already one! She's so precious. She says, mama, dada, nena (mckenna), bubble, bird and signs "more" and "all done." She can point to almost every body part you tell her to. It's the cutest when she points to her hair! She's not walking yet, but can crawl super fast. She is a mama's girl through and through and would probably be perfectly content if I held and hugged her all day long. She's very intense and still gets her mad bird face when she's concentrating. What can I say? She's Peytie Jane and we couldn't love her more :)

We went to Half Moon Bay yesterday with the Gery's and had a great time! The weather was beautiful and it was so nice to be at the beach! We'll definitely go back soon!

Chocolate Pops!

So McKenna has this thing with my dad (Poppy) where everytime we see him, he has a chocolate pop for her. Now Peyton has picked up on this little treat when we see Poppy and I usually just put it in my bag and in the pantry for McKenna. Well while I was out, Kyle found the stash and gave both of them pops. I think she liked it :)

I'm a Big Girl!

Peytie Jane is a nut! She refuses to eat baby food and has since she was introduced to it at 5 months old. I went to farmers market and bought all organic fruits and veggies, spent the whole day making it and she wouldn't even open her mouth (even with a little force :) I know she's a bit older now (almost 10 months) but if I even try to cut up what we are eating...she won't touch it. She wants it exactly how we have it and won't be fooled. Surprisingly, she does really well and doesn't choke. She cracks us up ;)

We had a great Christmas this year spending it with both sides of the fam. (I forgot my camera and need to get pictures from my Mother and Sister in law!) So here's some pics from the time we spent with my fam. Peyton loved opening presents and seemed to really get it for 9 months. McKenna could hardly wait for Christmas this year so that made it really fun!
