We had a great Easter! McKenna loved the egg hunt and of course all the candy! The Easter Bunny was way too nice to her...I think she got 3 different baskets! We spent the day going to church and then hanging out at B and Poppy's house...very fun always!

time flies!

Holly, Amy and Emerald in highschool (1995)
Ramiah, Cole, Lucas, McKenna
Last weekend, Amy and I spent the night at Emerald's house (with our babies). It was so weird for all three of us to watch our kids play together and just hang out. They are all so different and amazing. I don't know too many people who are still close with their friends from 4th grade. It's such a special thing to have that history. It seems like not that long ago--we were the one's playing and being silly together (and we still are=). I'm so thankful our kids get to grow up with each other!
my little friends
On Wednesdays I get to watch 3 adorable kids and oh, also my adorable kid too! The Wilkalis kids are truly the best behaved children I know! They stop when you stay stop, they give hugs and kisses all day, they eat whatever you put in front of them, they sit through a whole book (or 3), and well I'm just praying that some of it rubs off on my McKenna bug. (She's very sweet also...we're just working on the listening part =)
My mom and I ventured out and took all 4 of them to the museum and park today. They had a blast and it was funny to see all the looks I got. One lady stopped me and said, "Wow, you look really together for having 4 kids!" I just laughed and said, "Oh no, only she's mine...I don't think I'd have a brain left if all of these were mine." One day a week is great and I have so much fun with these little darlin's!

there's nothing like daddy time
So lately, Kyle and McKenna have been having great talks up on top of her playhouse almost every night. They stay out there for quite a long time talking about whatever is on her mind. Kyle fills me in later and it's so cute to hear the things she asks and tells him. A couple of my favorites..."Daddy, what's that blink-blink?" (Airplanes) "Daddy, who's that man?" Apparently they saw our neighbor eating dinner and she thought that was pretty cool. "Daddy, you're the best and I love you." (thump thump =)
Their relationship is so special and it melts me cause I know how important that is for a precious growing girl. I knew Kyle was going to be a great dad, but he amazes me. Always taking time for her and he is seriously the most patient man I know. We are lucky girls!

mckenna's first snow
We decided it was time for McKenna to experience the snow. Uncle Lance, Daddy, Mommy and the little miss, ventured up to Tahoe for the day today. We attempted to go to a snow park, but they were closed due to the power being out. Soooo....we pulled off on the side of the road and made our own sled run...none of those pictures turned out though. McKenna was a bit unsure of the "Big Hill," but she went down with me and loved it afterwards. Such a fun day!
